Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the TurboMail Chrome extension and the website turbomailexperience.com (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it. The Service is provided by the publisher of TurboMail, reachable at turbomailsupport@gmail.com.

What the Service does

TurboMail changes how Gmail looks and works inside your own browser. It shows your existing mailbox as chat-style conversations and adds tools such as inline replies, rich formatting, search, labels, scheduling, read receipts, voice notes, templates and optional AI writing help.

TurboMail is not an email provider and does not create a second mailbox or a second address. You keep using your own Google account, your own mail and your own email address. TurboMail is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Gmail is a trademark of Google LLC.

Your Google account and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and have the right to access the mailbox you connect. You authorise TurboMail to access your mailbox through Google's official sign-in and mail APIs solely to provide the features you use. You can revoke that access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by removing the extension.

Your use of Gmail remains subject to Google's own terms. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for the content you send.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, phishing, malware or unlawful, harassing or infringing content; to access a mailbox you are not authorised to access; to break, probe or circumvent rate limits, security measures or authentication; to reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or redistribute the extension; or to use it in violation of any applicable law or of Google's policies.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these terms.

Your content

You keep all rights to your mail and anything you write. We claim no ownership of it. Mail content is processed in your browser and is not stored on our servers, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for the messages you compose, schedule and send.

Optional AI features

AI writing, rewriting, translation and summarising run only when you trigger them. When you do, the text you are working on is sent to the AI provider selected for that action to generate the result. AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate — review anything it produces before you send it. You remain responsible for the final message.

Scheduling and read receipts

Scheduled sending and read tracking depend on your device, your network, Google's services and our backend. We make reasonable efforts to deliver scheduled messages at the requested time, but we cannot guarantee exact timing or delivery. Read receipts indicate whether and when a tracked message was opened and can be affected by the recipient's mail client blocking images.

Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an ongoing best-effort basis. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may release updates automatically through the Chrome Web Store. Because TurboMail depends on Gmail and Google APIs, changes on Google's side may temporarily or permanently affect functionality.

Price

Where the Service is offered free of charge, no payment is required and no payment information is collected. If paid plans are introduced, their prices and terms will be presented clearly before you choose to purchase.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost mail, missed or delayed messages, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty euros if that amount is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the extension and revoking its access to your Google account. On termination, the licence granted to you ends and the extension's local data is removed from your browser.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is material we will update the date below and, where significant, note it on this page before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
