Privacy Policy

TurboMail is a Chrome extension that changes how Gmail looks and works inside your own browser. It shows your existing mailbox as chat-style conversations and adds tools such as inline replies, search suggestions, labels, scheduling, read receipts, voice notes and AI writing help.

You keep using your own Google account and your own email address. TurboMail is not an email provider and does not create a second inbox.

TurboMail talks to the official Gmail API from your browser, using the authorisation you grant to your Google account when you sign in. Messages, subjects, recipients, attachments and labels are read only to display them to you and to perform the actions you ask for, such as sending, replying, labelling, archiving or scheduling.

Your message content is never sent to our servers, never stored by us, and never sold, rented or shared with third parties. Google user data is used solely to provide the features described on this site — never for advertising, profiling, resale, or creditworthiness or lending decisions.

Anonymous product usage only: a randomly generated installation identifier, the extension version, your browser locale, and counts of which features were used and which errors occurred. This contains nothing about your mail, your contacts or your identity.

Read receipts work with randomly generated identifiers per sent message. They record that a tracked message was opened and when — not who opened it, and not any content.

If you send us a message through the contact form on this site, we store the name, email address and message text you typed so we can reply to you.

When you explicitly use an AI writing action, the text you are actively composing (and, for a summary, the thread you asked to summarise) is sent to the selected AI provider to produce the result. Nothing is sent unless you trigger the action, and the AI features can be left unused.

Your preferences, templates, signatures, drafts in progress and cached conversation data are stored locally in the browser so the interface stays fast between sessions. Clearing extension data or removing the extension removes them.

TurboMail requests only the permissions its features need: access to mail.google.com and Google's mail APIs to render your mailbox, sign-in for your Google account, local storage for preferences and cache, scheduled timers for delayed sends, and notifications for new mail alerts.

Anonymous usage data is retained in aggregate. Contact-form submissions are kept until the conversation is resolved. You can revoke TurboMail's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page, and remove the extension from Chrome to stop all data collection.
